Clay Charter Academy Issue/Rationale The School Board approved the charter application for Clay Charter Academy submitted by Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. Florida law requires that the parties enter into a contract subsequent to approval of the application and prior to commencement of school operations, which contract, (Charter) sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the parties. Recommended Action Approve the Charter/Contract for Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. d.b.a. Clay Charter Academy.
